El Quinto Pino is a Multiregional Spanish tapas bar in Manhattan from chefs and owners Alex Raij and Eder Montero.
Our moon shaped marble bar and antique Spanish tile are the corner stone of one of New York’s most romantic restaurants. EQP is a natural gathering place and the perfect place for drinks and traditional and signature tapas.
Famous for our Uni Panini, our unique menu and off the beaten path wine list celebrate all regions of Spain. Above all, we are inspired by the tapas lifestyle and the ability of the tapas tradition to bringing people together.
Our food is rooted in tradition but has true flair and our staff is knowledgeable, but most of all friendly. This winning and fresh approach has meant that El Quinto Pino has set the standard for tapas since 2007 and continues to create new dishes and a lasting impression.
“El Comedor” at El Quinto Pino: located directly behind the original 400 square foot “EQP”, which maintains all its original charm and intimacy, is our new dining room. Like in Spain you can now enjoy a seated snack or meal directly behind your favorite tapas bar. “El Comedor” was once a residential apartment and it remains so in many ways. Furnished with midcentury, custom and vintage furniture, “El Comedor” is a comfortable oasis for small and large groups who prefer to sit or reserve a table in advance.
El Quinto Pino has been named the most authentic tapas bar by Peter Meehan of the NY Times and subsequently received two stars from Peter Wells upon adding its dining room.
